My usual content has been removed in the light of the latest terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, and the attack on the Pentegon in Washington, D.C. This page will remain until further notice, not because it is a tragedy, but because I want to celebrate the lives that were saved, and the lives that were with us, despite their deaths, they DID live, let's celebrate that gift.
I do not have to describe the horrifying images that we are being bombarded with as we are unable to pull ourselves away from the news reports. I have only managed to get a couple hours of rest, and could only accomplish that by sleeping on the couch with the television on, and my family around me.
My prayers go out for our nation, and for the people who have family members, friends, and the people who have been injured and have perished. May God protect the rescue workers as they place their lives in danger to save the survivors. May God give the doctors and nurses in wisdom as well.

UPDATE: September 13, 2001 - It was announced on our local news last night that a local sled dog company has put their dog booties on clearance and is encouraging people to purchase them so that the company can send them out to New York for the search and rescue dogs. The company, based here in Minnesota, is also dontating several pairs of booties.

Dear Family of God, let us pray!
Most Gracious Heavenly Father,
United we pray that You will turn this horrible situation that has hit
our land to Your good immediately! We pray that you will be with the
families that have been affected by all that has happened! We pray as a
United Body in Christ Jesus, that You will intercede immediately! Oh
Precious Father how our hearts are grieving this morning for all that is
happening to this earth that You have given to mankind! Father, we
praise You and we ask that You give us Your wings of Eagles this day and
those that follow. We ask this in Jesus Holy Name in Prayer without
ceasing,

Father, have mercy upon those of your children who have died such
horrendous deaths this morning. Please give their families the strength
to endure this tragedy and to make it through the weeks of mourning that
will come. Harden not our hearts, Father, in the face of this
adversity. Cool our anger, and prevent it from blooming into a dangrous hate.
We ask that enlighten our leaders with Your wisdom and that
you protect us and all those that we hold dear.
Thank you, Father, for all youhave done for us and we
ask that you hold us in the palm of Your hand.
We ask this through your son, Jesus.
